I got this recipe from a young hairdresser in the 80s. I can’t remember her name! She got it from her mother-in-law. It’s a great, easy recipe. I’ve added nuts, and made it without the poppyseeds. (But poppyseeds just make it look so good!)
1golden butter cake mix
1\2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons poppy seed
3\4 cup oil
8 ounces sour cream
4eggs
325 degrees in tube pan for 1 hour
